Happy 4th, out of curiosity
Did any of us 65 giveaway winners, actually receive a knife? Just curious, I haven't heard anymore on the topic. I was kind of excited winning something.
I sent my contact info ...but never got any feedback.

I believe the donor requested that you contact him via email to ensure you would get your knife.

I am going to move this thread but other members should feel free to contact you and discuss the situation.

Please DO NOT get into issues of why the donor was banned from the forums as it is not a topic open to public discussion here and will result in this thread being closed. Thank you.
 
Thanks, didn't mean to open a can of worms. He just emailed me. I was just curious since it sort of dissappeared and I was excited to win.

He said that half of the knives had gone out, and the other half will go out this week.
I don't want to appear materialistic, I just wondered why there was no mention of it...
It's incredibly generous sending out 65 knives...and a lot of work too.

Just an update, I received mine with the same tracking number he provided before leaving. I sent him an acknowledgement as well as a hearty thank you.
It was way more than I expected.

I emailed him earlier in the week. He basically said the same, sent about half out and trying to finish and send the rest soon.
 
Since the matter is allegedly being addressed, let's just move on unless there is a need to revisit this in these forums. He is obviously being kept apprised of the situation by a forum member or members.
