Last years firewood had some very good Curly Ash, way too nice to burn! So, being as I am, I stashed 10 times more than I'll ever use. [and, I'm about out of room!!] I'd much rather have some of it used than toss it in the woodstove.

Cut 2+ years. Trimed, ends waxed and stored inside for better than a year [as firewood size pieces. Cutting to block size now.]. A month or two to adjust would be a good idea.

These blocks are rough bandsaw cut and may have an edge chip, live edge or slight bark strip, nothing that will not trim away with ease. Blocks are cut oversize to easily work around any imperfections left. My goal is to offer these at a fair price and avoid the mess and expense of belts to sand each piece. After all, it's all about the curl which does'nt really show well untill it's stained.

Check out the pics. This is about half of what I kept. A lot of this will be trimed away but there should be a few good blocks left. Also shown is two random pieces sanded to 120gr. and stained for example.

Standard Blocks:
Minimum size; 1 1/8" x 1 3/4" x 5" [most are closer to 2"]

Oversize Blocks
Minimum size: 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 5-6" [what do you need??]

Sticks for Hammers, Hatchets & Small Hawks
Minimum size; 1 1/4" x 2" x 14-15" [again, what do you need??]
