Watch pocket is big enough for a regular-sized knife.

Keeps it away from the rest of your usual kit.

scdub scdub New thread, nothing addressed.
Yeah - I’m seeing the pattern here.
I haven't done anything but talk about knives. However, I've been harassed since day 1 on here for talking about knives. There is no basis for your warning to me, sir, as I have not violated any rules. I hope you enjoy your evening.
And there it is. Ok good riddance.

I feel a bit silly for sticking up for him now but whatryagonnado?

Damn, what’s that a “watch” pocket for… Andre the Giant? That’s like a pocket within a pocket. The leather is a nice touch.. wonder if maybe someone can make leather match the pants. Sort of sticks out like a sore thumb.

Hm, is that actually leather, or just some thicker fabric?

It feels like leather. Just, super, super, thin compared to the stuff you would find on a pair of boots, for example. I seriously do have a calipers I could measure it with, but unless there are three other people who really want to know, that's a lot of work!

'Tis! I like it, because the leather liner makes it hard to get regular pocket clips in their regular place. The "watch" pocket is a great alternative.

Steven Tyler has some sort of weird leather/denim hybrid going on. Maybe he’s on to something? But clipping the knife outside the pocket? (Cringe)

He's got a better knife collection tham probably everybody here. Big collector of Microtechs and DDR. I remember seeing a picture of him with a Dalton auto shaped like a cross. Joe Perry is a big Darrel Ralph fan too.

Cheers brother. 🥃
Back at ya.

Ran into a search party in the woods looking for an elderly man who had gone missing a few hours ago. (I heard from a deputy who I ran into earlier on a walk with the dog at about 6.) Still out looking, drone up looking for IR heat signatures.

Too bad. I've checked our property and some adjoining...but the woods are thick and there's lots of steep patches leading down to creeks and such.

It's so peaceful in here...now I know I'm not in Kansas anymore.

Guess we'll leave this open then...until or unless it becomes necessary to do otherwise. (As long as that's good with brother Boru13 Boru13 or anyone else that gets called into the fray.)

A nice thing that the thread doesn't have to die... at least immediately!

In addition to one of my friction folders in 20CV I always carry, I usually rotate between a large Sebenza 21, Spyderco Military in S110V, and / or North Arm Skaha II... there are others, but lately it's one of these that end up in the front pocket. I've also been carrying a Rough Ryder stockman in VG10, just to see how I like carrying a slipjoint regularly. The different blade shapes and compact size make it a super compelling option... I see more traditional knives in my future.

Lately? Spyderco Southard, PM2, Manix 2, Civivi Exarch Damascus CF, ZT 0470, ZT 0095. I carry the Southard a lot.

Sounds good to me... could turn out to be a decent thread.
