I still have to score one on a Monday sale though. I've been lucky though with a 5.1 and a 4.7 preproduction. I am really looking forward to this one.

The production schedule definitely got a makeover. I like seeing the 3 distinct categories: finishing up, in production, available for pre-production ordering
 
It seems to me that depending on the volume of the orders which are placed based on available supplies during their Monday sales, the order placement to fulfillment lag time is about 2-4 weeks. That combined with fulfillment commitments primarily on preorders, they have been conducting Monday sales every other week. That has been my experience so far in this past few weeks which I have become both a sub forum member and a Survive! customer.

I'm thinking about placing an order for a GSO 10 (now kind of p*ssed that I sat on my arse when I had a chance on GSO 12) and if I do so, I am not expecting to see a fulfillment on the short side of 6 months! So the play will be something like ordering a preproduction GSO 10 and then keeping my eyes open like a hawk on their Monday sales to score a GSO 12 2nd. I have an added advantage that because my business is e-Commerce, I am almost always online but I have noticed that so are many others with faster trigger fingers ;)

May the 9th at a time to determined be there will be 4.7 2nds.
I miss the extra information, but I guess there is a reason why most companies just tell you when they ship your order out and leave it at that.
Sigh.
 
I'll be sitting out this upcoming Monday's (5/09) feeding frenzy! Currently have my eyes open for Necker II, GSO 2.7, GSO 3.5, GSO 12 in that same order of priority.
 
I'll admit I have a problem. I'm getting overly antsy. Through my own poor decision making I have yet to experience a new spec blade. With that said I'm dwelling on the the idea that all these seconds must mean they're prepping firsts to ship out the door!
 
They predicted that there would be fewer 2nds on the following production runs, so less to sell on Mondays.
They've also said that a lot of their customers aren't on social media or forums, so we wouldn't hear anything about those deliveries.
I am confident that knives are shipping all the time! :)

I agree with you based on the scarcity of the items marked as 2nd which went on sale on 5/02. The sale was all over within 10 minutes (I kid you not!) as compared to the 4/11 when still some merchandise was available well past the first hour!

Also you will see based on YouTube videos and comments made that there are a bunch of International users of Survive! Knives in the U.K., Germany, Scandinavian Countries and Australia among a few!

Also, I'd guess things go more quickly the first few Mondays because there are more people who are extra motivated to pick one up. Things seem to calm down after the first couple groups of people get their knives
 
Well, no shot at a 4.7 this Monday, maybe they will get more ghost jade handles in stock by skipping a week.

(We do not have guaranteed delivery dates for preordered knives. Once a model starts production it typically takes 4-6 months for all of the materials to be produced and another 1-2 months to get orders finished, sharpened, and built. Since the knives are produced in large production batches, there will be some time between when your order is placed and when production actually starts for that model.
