I will put it up for sale based upon the advice of all here for $310 knife only plus shipping is it advisable to add obo? How much extra is the leather sheath worth?
You can add OBO, but you do have to put a solid price. per Blade Forums rules. no auctions.

I would include the sheath with it if it was me. They really never sell well by themselves.

325.00 to 350.00 shipped priority mail and insured w/sheath.

But that's me. I am a sheath maker not a knife dealer

you could always ask 400.00

Thanks guys - I appreciate the info - I am going to put it up will advertise it for $325 shipped with the leather sheath.

How quick? Does it come with a sheath? Is it the DCBB with black micarta, AKA the 3rd in the GW series? Slightly used?
If no sheath, try $300, & drop it $5 each day until someone jumps on it 🤔
I'd like it to sell asap - can you tell from the pics i posted if it is the double cut bead blast with the black micarta? It does appear that is exactly what it is.

market is soft atm, id say 250 if infi and new
With the leather sheath? What version of the Game Warden did not have Infi? My Game Warden is the DCBB with Black Micarta - as identified by Jaxx Jaxx it is not new but a kitchen user as shown above in pics.

Can't get it to focus on the edge - but it is clearly evident that there is no roll or edge imperfections. I've never sharpened it but I have used a strop from time to time - that's all it really needed.

Just saw the pics, yeahh Id say 260 woth the sheath, give or take

Im not super familar with the GWs/its variants just going by what Ive seen on the exchange

Ok - grizzle grizzle - thanks for your input. I have looked and asked others what they thought the appropriate number is. I also agree that sales on this exchange are indeed appropriate to gauge current market value - can you please post the recent GW variant sales threads that you have "seen on the exchange" that would support the $260.00 price that includes sheath and shipping? - Maybe i am mistaken but must have missed that one.

sorry for any confusion, that estimate was based more on general exchange trends and what I would pay for it. not any specific listings.

Wish you the best with the sale! just offering my 2 cents on value but definitely take it with a grain of salt

I once again thank you for your input - however - when members (especially a premium member) adds input to threads trying to establish value that input is then added to the "bible" and referenced by all for current and future market information which in this case is misleading to others. Your original post stated that "The market is soft atm, id say 250 if infi and new" - Not sure what your knowledge is on Busse but there is no Game Warden ever produced that is not Infi. Your second post was a slightly more refined opinion as you are learning now that it is indeed Infi - then your revised value opinion was that it's "Just going by what Ive seen on the exchange" (Obviously that statement means you have hard market data that you found here on BF to support this) Then - A much later post that i am now responding to states something completely different - that being - "That estimate was based more on general exchange trends and what I would pay for it. not any specific listings" Which is completely contradictory to your original post. Obviously you can see how this can be misinterpreted by others trying to gain information for future sales - do you mind elaborating?

value is subjective, and at this moment this is my opinion on the value. that's all I'll say :)
apologies for any confusion

I've recently purchased and recently sold a snakeskin warden with ksf sheath for 300 usd . Both purchased minutes within listing. I'd say 300 is a solid baseline

Game Warden's always seem to be in demand, considering they are one of few pocket carry Busse's. I'd say honestly start around $400 or leave $$ on the table potentially, as Twoody said they will be gone within minutes at $300.

Prices in the used market can't really be nailed down. Depends who's looking , how bad they want it at that time and how bad you need the cash.

Exactly, I've been here over a decade and never cease to be amazed at the market being a fickle thing. So many factors here at play that nobody can tell you what it's worth, it's worth what it sells for in the end and if you start too low you'll never know what it may have brought you. Start on the high side and plan to slowly drop price until the knife is sold, how quickly depends on how much time you can plan for it taking if needed.

I went back and looked at what things have been going for in the past few months, and this seems to reflect current prices better than my original estimate of about $300.

There was a Fence Fried Warden that went for $267 and the Snakeskin for $300 with sheaths, but there were also coated ones that went for $375 and $410 without sheaths. You're not going to get any offers for over list price, but you can always accept a lower offer.

I was given a really good deal at 300 usd on my snakeskin warden with no intentions on selling at the time. Then life happened and I needed the cash, figured it was only right to pass the deal along and in turn I met another cool member I still chat with. I think the used market pricing is and should be forsure different if your keeping it in our blade forum circle vs eBay or Craigslist etc though.

Carefully holding onto something for years and selling for higher than paid price feels alot more deserving and legit than an instant flip on the community . Just my 2 cents

If you plan on listing this for sale on the higher side of things… clean it up and take better pictures. It really does help.

In the end, make your own decision and get it listed. This is starting to seem like an awful lot of hand-holding for what should be a simple listing. GLWS
