Custom BK-9 Wood Processing Pic Heavy.. of course

Thanks for the advice Ethan,
I have only processed these two piles in this thread. I thought the large uncut pieces won't burn. I will try to be more efficient. Saves the energy and the edge.
Thank You very much.
Jose

Hey Jose......

Please, remember that batonning through complex knots will occaisionally severely screw up the edge.....Soooooo I guess what I am trying to say is that if you need a five pound sledge you are really pushing the envelope......You have a lot of time in that blade........In a field situation start the fire with the easy stuff and if it takes work or is likely to stress your blade, burn the sob.....Be lazy, ie efficient........Baton the easy stuff..........

Haha. I didn't have a good baton but Mr. Ethan is right. If I need the sledge I shouldn't be splitting that. Hey but the blade held up and the edge did very well. Beat the hell out of my hands though.
I appreciate all the advice from you guys. This forum rocks.
Thanks
Jose

I niticed the sledge too and thought...Surely not! :)
