Custom BK11, Updated

I had made the pics k9 sent me into my screen saver. When i woke up this morning my desktop screen saver was changed, and there was a note on my laptop telling me to quit staring at that damn knife the kids need to be fed lmao :)

Haha! That is awesome. Great choices for customization bro! He did a damn good job.
 
Thanks bro. this is how i envisioned the perfect knife. he did an amazing job bringing it to life. im sitting here so impatiently waiting for the mailman now!! Tracking actually shows it out for delivery in a different zipcode than mine so im a bit worried about that but hopefully all goes well.

i wrapped the handle and added my firesteel and its perfect. i will throw up some pictures later on. i got fried chicken greasy hands right now :)
 
And now that i washed my hands off and drank my hot sauce off the plate we are ready!!

Here it is in all its glory! Oh the buttons are missing on my laptop because my son is an a$$hole :)

Just as before i made the necklace knots large enough to use as a retention or a safety. And i added the firesteel toggle to the bottom of the handle. Isnt she beautiful...

Im probably going to re wrap the handle in od green paracord when i get some, but i kinda like the black as well, it makes it match with the green and black sheath.


What do you guys think? the handle better in black or od green wrap?
 
Been trolling for a while. Decided I needed to start playing along as well.

That's a really nice scheme, simple yet bada$$. Is the blade stock because it almost looks like you put a stainless steel or gray color on it?
 
I'd say keep the black wrap... Looks better that way, it will match the camo pattern quite nicely actually.


That said, why not just square up the spine and not need the striker... It looks "out of place" on the sheath.
