The Huntsman. I carry mine in a KSF pocket sheath with a flashlight. Stainz

Hey Stainz,

I really like the looks of the Huntsman. I have never owned a Bark River knife before. Is there anything else you can tell me about the Huntsman? How well it makes fuzz sticks, for example. Any and all information appreciated.

Email me if you prefer. Thank you.

Personally I have dumped most of my knives in favor of Scott's blades. I love my PSK (jr) and I have been using it as my utility blade for about a year now. I just added a PSK sr to my kit, which fits between the psk and my RD9. I like the simple design of his blades, and how easy it is to keep sharp. And without a doubt, they are the toughest blades I have ever owned. I am looking forward to when I can get Kephart, I'm on the waiting list.

I do understand what you mean about the look/design, but I have found that in use, they knives have won me over, so much so I prefer my PSK sr to my RAT RC-4 or TAK-1. The Tusker is a beautiful blade you should seriously consider, a friend I went up to CA to train with had a huge Tusker, and a smaller version, both are simply beautiful.

Anyways, I don't mean to sound like a Gossman ad, I've just owned a huge number of knives and feel that dollar for dollars his blades are a great value, and a mistake to pass up.

Cheers!

I frequently see on the knifemaker's for sale section knives by G L Drew, this one for instance:

Anyone own/use one of his knives?
