Hey everyone, I've finally taken the dive into knife photography and for my first post on Blade Forums I'd like to show you a recently completed project; "Custom Detail". Inspired by vehicle detail photography, each image shows just a few elements of the knife so you can focus on each aspect of the knife, one highly detailed image at a time to get the full effect of its hand crafted beauty.
Any feedback will be much appreciated. Enjoy!

This is unbelievable work on both your parts. Your use of macro and lighting is awesome Caleb. It gives me a pang of a regret that I used to put that kind of effort into my nature photography and have come up short with my blades. This is very inspiring stuff.

Incredible work Caleb. The intensity of your photos captures the intensity of Kyle's work very nicely. What a way to start with your first post. I can't wait to watch your techniques and talents develop.

Your images define the term 'Functional Art'.

As others have said, beautiful work on both your and Kyle's part.

Your detail shots are fantastic, and bring another dimension to knife portrayal.

Great job.

John
