Custom Handmade Paracord Lanyards

Here's 2 pics of a lanyard Thom put together for me. I picked the colors to work with the Kodak PlaySport, asked for the glow in the dark tab and a tightening lanyard design. Love it :thumbup:

Hello. I would like a round OD green with a emerson black glow skull. Can you please make the loop 2" and add the glow plug on the end? I believe you can email me through the forum.
 
I got some new pictures of all the colors, along with some new colors posted in posts #5 and #8. The $10 choice of skull lanyard, $5 plain, and $12 monkey fist with choice of skull sale is still going. If you see something you'd like let me know I'd be more than happy to make it up for you.

Here are some pictures of the Monkey Fists I ordered for my girls - they love them! (You should have seen the look I got when I told them I was going to give them each a Monkey Fist lol...).

For the un-initiated, the Monkey Fist is a knot that originally was used at the end of ropes on sailing vessels that allowed the sailors better grip on the lines used on the ships way back when.

Today, DahlKen is making them using a 7/8" steel ball bearing and paracord, making a neat little item that can be used (in a pinch) for self defense. I ordered two pretty pink ones for the two beautiful women in my life.

I also ordered one for me, just because!

Here are some pics of the Monkey Fists - the pink one is the longer variety, in round pattern with a twist, with rose pink and pink camo, and a nice little pink keyring that DahlKen threw in for us! The shorter one is a bright red / black round twist sinnet / MF with a silver Emerson skull, made as a lanyard (but could be a keyring if one wanted...)

My MF is shorter, and looks great on my Busse DSSF - but here is a closeup of the MF and the Emerson skull. DahlKen puts glow material in the eyes of the skull - and it glows great!

Thank you for the compliments, but I do want to correct one error. The 550 cord in the monkey-fist itself isn't gutted. I wrap the bearing using full 550 cord then only gut a small area of the long end to make the lanyard able to make a ring hitch through a lanyard hole on the knife. The longer ones are only gutted in the sinnets that are wrapped around the long end that is attached to a split ring.

I am now out of the middle sized skull, but have lots of the others for now. These middle sized ones are currently back-ordered and not due back into stock for 4-6 weeks. I am working on a bunch of monkey-fists that I am going to put the last of my McGizmo clips on and will get them put up tonight or first thing tomorrow as soon as I can snap some shots of them. So keep a watch for them, and of course as always ready for your lanyard orders.

Could you make a set of sunglasses keepers? Sort of like Croakies. I have one set from a company I bought in South Carolina last year. The cord is braided around a tube of neoprene like material. The cord is braided just like the survival bracelets you see. It's the neoprene tube that slips over the earpieces on the sunglasses.
I would be willing to buy about a half dozen if you could do it.

I will look into getting some of the neoprene and see if I can come up with a way to do them.

Have you made any of the sun glass holders like in the pictures in the posts above? If so, I would be very interested. Please let me know.

Both square.

Both third skull w/glow eyes from left on top.

Both finished with glow pull tabs.

One Red and Black 3" - 3.5" lanyard w/3" loop.

One just OD Green 2.5" to 3" lanyard w/4" loop.
