I can think of only one thing that I wish the Custom Shoppe would offer....

110's with titanium frame and bolsters.
that a good thought
custom shop Ti frame!
... i liked the 560 ...
i think they stopped to early on them , the high tech look was jest getting rolling when it was halted...
always wanted tacky grip material popping up some from the holes!

Now that would be cool! ! ! ;) ! ! ! A 110 or a 112 with Titanium Frame and Bolsters and a Damascus Blade... ...

I've "wished" for this setup before,

TI hardware, textured Blaze Orange or Bright Yellow G-10 and s30v blade.

Perfect outdoors folder!!!!!

The 560 was a good knife, but it was too thin IMO.
The current 110 is just perfect in thickness.

I agree, Allen, I just can't imagine a more comfortable knife than a 110. In fact, my 110's fit my hand better than any other knives that I own. Wow, I just talked myself in to buying another one! ;)

so what i get is a frame shaped like the 110 but in gray Titanium -
with diffrent G10 scales - correct?
sounds like some thing i could go for ... water proof with s30v to boot!
yep a real 'Sea Hunt'-er of a knife!

I don't even need the G-10 scales.
I think the titanium would look great with most of the existing scales, especially the walnut, water-buffalo horn, stag, and koa wood.

I take the blame for that idea, I fish alot and always thought a 110 with textured synthetic would ROCK as a fishing knife used around water.

TI & KOA is a awful tempting idea though..... :D

there were two 560's made with s30v blades..
both of them are in marry old England...

once there was a 560 with bg42 i dont know who had it,,
i had a 560 as a user for a while ... liked the easy firm grip on it,
with broken wrist it is important to me to have a good grip as easily as possible..

Another CS dream... they finish my 6+ week old order and ship it! Bah! 'Anticipation...' - Carley Simon was right.

Patience is not one of my virtues.

I do like the idea of a few more blade & scale choices. Some CS 110s made on 'spec' - and offered first-come-first served would sell quickly, too.

kinda sorta do you think the frame being ti
and scales as g10 would be the
high tech version of a 110?
so an up date verson of the 110..?
a more elgant verson was a 111..
a mil spect was 186 later 560
what number would buck use for such a knife...?

What exactly are you asking?

what you call it?
the basic 110 blade fits in a lot of other number models-
426 > 111 classic of aluminum > the 111 radius bolsters > 186 > 560

some numbers are in use already 112> 185 > whoa...
559 and 561 i dont think are used!

I would just call it a Custom Shoppe Buck 110.
And I would keep all the standard Custom Shoppe options, but add titanium bolsters and frame as an additional option.

In fact, I think that it is paramount to keep the dimensions the same as the standard Buck 110....the size is perfect IMO.

well yes they did keep the same number for the nickel frames...
i could see a Ti frame as jest a diff like nickel and brass..
i really would like to see it with the same hook as the 560 had on its front bolster...
once i slipped and did cut my fingers on the blade pushing.. not bad ...
but enough to want that 112 hook on a 110 also.. call it a 113 would be good..

first got a question for you guys..
if you could on the buck tour go watch 110's being made and pick out a one and follow it through the line start to finish and the folks working on it knew you were watching it as it went through and at the end of the line it gets put in a box...
would you buy it as the one built for you that you got to watch it being built!!??!!??
would it be a special knife to you to keep?

well i spoke with Joe today and the store also..
i could not find out any thing on any one item~!
but was told there will be
Special pricing on a lot of things in the store!
