custom shop has magnacut for 110, 112, 113, 119, 501 and 722

If you want to try Magnacut, I don't think you'll find a better deal than the Buck Custom Shop prices. They offer it in large & small traditional folders, fixed blades, and even a modern folder. I already have one, and another one on order.

Any recommendations on what models for an edc work knife?

A 501, 112, 110, or 722. 722 is a modern flipper, the 501, 112, 110 are more traditional list smallest to largest 501 is just under a 3 inch blade, 112 is 3 inches, 110 is 3 3/4 inches. 722 is 3 1/4 inches. Personally I would go for the 501 or the 112.

Yeah, I'm kind of partial to the 112. The size & feel just seems about right for me.

Let's hope so. Mine is scheduled for Friday, which means it will probably show up on Thursday. :)
Can't wait to see it. Hoping it will push me to decide between a Custom Shop Magnacut 112, 112 Auto Elite or a deploy Wharncliff for my next purchase.

I just noticed. It looks like the pivot for the back spring on the customs is hidden under the wood. Unlike the regular 110, 112s where it goes the whole way through. That little detail makes a big difference in the looks.
I never did notice that, it does make it look a bit more refined.

Nice one! That's a classy looking configuration. Walnut is one of my favorite hardwoods. Was it the same CS employee who did your last one?
Thank you I really like it! It looks like it was a different craftsman this time. It's kind of like collecting baseball cards, never know who will be the next Danny Peretti!

Also, not that it ever mattered to me but they even polished the lock bar release button area.

Something else I noticed. They completely polish the back bolster down in the area where the lock is depressed. They don’t on the regular stock 110’s. I noticed that right away because it’s a place I have to give a little extra time when I rescale one. You can see it on pat9198 pat9198 ’s last picture.

A little detail for sure. But it’s nice to know they put that additional care into building your knife.

What handle material is that?

It arrived. It was touch & go there for a while though. My wife brought the mail in, but there was no knife. Then, about 5 minutes later, the mail truck showed up again, and dropped the knife off.

I've looked it over closely, but can't find anything wrong with it. Not the best lighting, but here it is.
