This is a seriously modified Cold Steel Trail hawk redone by my friend Jeremy Meaux.
He completely reforges the head, shapes a spike poll, thins the blade, fills the set-screw hole and refinishes the head.
This is not a grind job but a reforging and reheat-treating job. He doesn't remove any material to thin the blade. The only thing this has in common with a CS is that it's the same steel.
This is about as nice as a CS Trailhawk head can really get in my opinion.
I did a flame striping job to the handle and sealed it with butchers wax. I also applied a mustard patina (not shown in pics) to ward off rust. It's easily removed if you desire. Also has a brass top on the handle.
I hate to let this go but I just don't use it, it's a waste to let it sit.
Not really looking for anything in particular. I like modern wilderness blades with micarta handles,Bark river and Koster being some of my current favorites. Make me some offers, worst I can do is say no.
