That is a spectacular and fabulous collection of knives. The time, effort and coin that has gone into assembling those together is impressive!!👍:cool:

I knew sooner or later I’d get a knife with oosik covers. The color is a bit darker than the picture. The blade on that one is A2. I would have no hesitation getting another Davison. I am looking for just the right striper. I wouldn’t mind just collecting those.

I read an interview with him a while ago.
He has a horizontal pin go trough the stripes, into the scales and bolster setting them secure.
Also no drawings or templates. "I drill a hole and go from there".

That is interesting. I would never have known that about the stripes. Thanks for that info.
