Only this one for me so far. I'm working on a second Kroo though. Such a good guy to work with and chat with.

What a great start. I like your blade selection, does it have a name?
Indeed, Willem is a wonderful person and craftsman.
Thanks for sharing. You should share that beauty in the ...Out of Africa...kroo.....thread. It is all about Kroo knives.

I'll check that thread out. Hadn't seen that one. I'm not sure on the blade. I just told him I wanted a sort of drop point with a bunch of belly. It's been years since I ordered that one. Next one is a stockman with a small clip, big pointy punch, and wharnie main. Should be a unique one. I figured at some point rather than chasing random knife drops I should just get one exactly how I want it, and that's the combo I landed on.

I gave up the chase too, I like to control how my knifes look when given the opportunity.
He's working on a lambfoot coffin for me now.

Slipjoint #14 by my hand. Learning how to make them, enjoying the process.
M390, bronce and self jigged paper micarta.
I really like the looks and grippyness of jigged paper micarta, I'll try some bone soon.

what kind of burr are you using to jig the micarta?

I really like that thin nail nick. What did you use to cut them?
I am using a 3" cut off wheel in a mandrel, dressed with an angle. Be warned though, the nicks come out very thin with this wheel.

I took some knives to a professional maker in the next town, his feeling is there isn't enough width to them and that it will turn off some buyers who need more height in the nick for their thumbs.

Here are some pictures of my wheel and for contrast what this maker uses. He uses a wheel in a chain saw sharpener.
