customized CS Americn Lawman

Nice work man; reallllly like the file work you did :)
To echo RenDevil; a tutorial pic set / video would be really interesting to watch.

I saw the "stock" knife at a local shop yesterday and liked it except for the coating. Your mod looks great. Did you use a solvent to strip the teflon?

well I do have tanto recon what I can customize in the future and use it for pics , , there is no coating on the blade just satin finish , aus 8 good steel should work just fine with out any coating. I also was thinking about adding titanium liners but not sure if I will do that , I have more important things right now .
Thank you for comments .

So what would be a good way to remove the black teflon without beating up the blade?

I dont know yet , I only tried one , it comes of easy , but blade has gray color and needs some finish .

So how exactly did you remove the teflon coating? Chemical strippers?, Sandpaper and elbow grease?, or some other form of refinishing wizardry?

Inquiring minds really wanna know!

I wouldn't carry the stock version on a bet.

Yours I would carry proudly. Very nice work. Vast improvement.

Of course now, when you are sneaking up on enemy sentries, they are going to see you! :D

I did the same thing to my CS Mini-Lawman, getting rid of the teflon coating, that is.

It scrapes off easily enough. Just get another knife that is of softer steel and it'll be off in no time, and won't scratch the CS blade.

Follow with sanding or scotchbrite or however you do your blades.
