Cutler Stiddy and Liner Spreader

I'm interested but it'll have to wait a bit. Blew my wad on a MAP arm and have two more tools in that price range in line ahead of it.

Finally completed costing and materials. The stiddy will be made from S-7 and heat treated to 54rc. Everything else is the same specs as ealier. I will offer these two ways. One is with a plain base for $350 and the other is with the base engraved with your name or logo for $375. I'm buying a 12ft. bar of S-7 for this so I would like to do a down payment of half for each order. I can get 28 parts from one flat. I will wait till there is enough orders built up so I get a price break on heat treat and machining. I am taking orders now. Please use my e-mail for orders. Thanks, David.

Stiddy tops are at the machine shop now. Working on the bases. Doen't look like Christmas delivery is happening like I wanted. With all of the knife blank orders I have, it doesn't leave much time.:D

Update. The stiddy tops are going to heat treat this week. Hopefully I can get a quick turn around from them.

Update. I'm picking up the anvils from heat treat in the morning. Time to get the bases finished and get these shipped. I'll post some pics of the completed stiddys soon. Thanks everyone for your patience. The next run won't take as long.

Update! Stiddys will ship next week. I have sent e-mails out to customers on this. If you didn't receive an e-mail, send me one please. Thanks everyone.

Hey BTW....I haven't finished anything with them yet but I got some parts cut out by David and was really pleased with how well they were finished. If you haven't tried his service out I would give him a shout and see what he can do for you.

Thanks David...as soon as I get something finished with these parts I will post up some pics here....before and after ofcourse.

The final product! This one is has custom engraving for a special customer and friend of mind. Do you know who? All of the others are the same without the engraving. I'm no photographer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I hope everyone likes them.

Oh yea....VERY NICE! Jewel is a perfect description of that stiddy.

Thanks guys. That logo is something I came up with for his company after he made me a custom slipjoint with armadillo scales. Any ideas yet. Next hint is "coonass".

Ah, I'm glad. I couldn't figure out what was so wrong with the guess, even if I was wrong. :o
