Status update.
Jeff contact me via email 06 January 2014.
I've been on holiday and answer todays only.

He said "the shipping method you selected is incorrect for the size of this order".
About a payment.
I checked my credit card account. it was authorization only, no charge. Authorization was canceled (I don`t know when it happens)

Current status of my order is "On Hold".
But it looks like "Every little thing gonna be all right".
Our communication via email is really fast now.
 
Last Update. I got my order!
It was a long story.. but everything is OK now.
I recieved all knives and even more. Jeff sent me a high-value gift.

Overall I have had positive dealings with CS but they can be "lean" on communication and the backorder thing can sometimes be trying. I'm glad the OP received his items and all is well.
 
Glad things worked out well for you. I have bought quite a few items from the Cutleryshoppe and I have always been happy with their service.
