Cutter Knife & Tool.......Brend 2 manual

Coonskinner - Take a look at cpirtle's post. There's a link there that will take to another post, with pictures of the CK&T Brend.

Whoa! What was that?

Oh, yeah. That was just a breeze, felt here in the Northeast.

It was a zephyr, caused by some fierce, fast action down in the Carolinas.

Yes - It was ArtSig1 disassembling, cleaning and reassembling his new CK&T Brend folder!!!

:D

I like mine more and more each day. Just seems to be the right size for something like this.

Now I have an odd question though. I have the Bodycoted version. Will the Bodycote affect the normal break-in of the lockbar? I am thinking that the knife might almost not break in with that stuff on there, but that is not too big of a deal. Just very curious.

I would think the DLC coating would wear away fairly quick where the lock engages the tang. Also since the coating is so thin it should not hinder the action at all.

Can you get some good pictures of the coated model? I'm thinking of getting the all black one to compliment my current one...

Wow Boink, you felt it all the way up in Joirsey! Then YES it was me and my hex wrenches..........hard at work!!

You need to check into one of these Boink, good deal on a great knife.

Very, very cool!

And no milling - makes for a nice sterile look!

How's the QC on the DLC coating? I've heard they've been marginal at best lately...

I have not had a knife that they have coated before, but this one seems to be well done.

You would know for sure if CK&T let one slip through - the coating is very splotchy. I heard they were inspecting each one closely to make sure bad ones did not go out.

I have had a couple of blades coated in it and the stuff holds up great.

The DLC looks GREAT! I like the flat scales myself which is why I went with that one! Have applied some 3M Stair-Tread Tape to both sides of the handles and it does look good plus enhances the grip. For more on this and other things visit www.microholics.org then folders and fixed blade forum. From there it is easy to locate. Would appreciate some feedback on what I've done.
