Cutting out blanks

Another angle grinder with cutoff wheels. I don't try to get right to my profile, just lop off the major excess and reduce the belt use. A bandsaw's a fairly high priority at this point for me. Not just for the blades but for G10 and Micarta rough shaping and cutting out from sheets rather than buying scales. Some places offer pretty good pricing on scales but it's almost always possible to find a bigger selection in sheets and prices tend to be lower per knife, if only through reduced waste.
