CZ P07 Duty or Sig 229 DAK?

By the way I need to clarify. The CZ I shot 3 weeks ago was a CZ 75B. I didn't feel like I could get as deep a grip on it as the SP01 I shot today. I can't really see any difference in the grip of one vs the other. I do know I like the SP01 a lot. It will probably be one of my next pistols. The CZ 75B just didn't feel quite as good. And no matter what I dont like the safety position on either. But I would just opt for the decocker.

So go with the SP-01 Tactical. Solved the decocker problem and it has night sights :).

+1 for the P07. I owned this pistol for a while after my HK USP as we'll. you won't be disappointed. If you still looking at other options, check out the. FNx/s series. I've put several thousand rounds through on of those as well, very accurate reliable sub $600 gun.

+1 for the CZ. I had one after I got rid of my HK also. You won't be disappointed. Also, if you're still considering other options, check out the FN-X/S series, I've put several thousand rounds through one of those as well and it is a very accurate, reliable sub $600 gun.

Honestly wouldn't get either p229 DAK or CZ p-07. I hate DA only pistols. What happens when you have to machine gun rapid fire your pistol when it matters and besides that it is just unpleasant to shoot at targets so wouldn't get the DAK. Wouldn't get the p-07 either cause I've heard of reliablity isses and I don't like hammer fired polymer guns. CZ 75 0r 97 would probably be good choices.Really considering getting the CZ 97 in 45 cal.Have a sig p229 DA/SA very nice quility gun and very well made but I am going to sell it. Would say go with cz without polymer. Want a polymer gun would goes with something else.Had XDM's they are also very good but don't like the back safety or the pop up loaded chamber indictator. Glock is the best all around pistol you can get.Lightweight, reliable, accurate,no unnecessary safties or other protruding knobs and catches, tons of aftermarket options. Other guns I'm deciding on are M&P pro core,FNH FNS,Walther PPQ.

Oh I went with the Sig. Nothing wrong with the DAK. The duel resets are firm and easy to use. It's like a revolver.

Anyway I'm currently not in the market for another pistol. But when I am I'll have to look at the CZ SP01 pretty hard.

Ulf, mate, I hope that you don't have a carry permit. I'd hate to be around you, should anything happen;)

You really can not go wrong with either. I am a big fan of CZ, but also a big fan of sig, they both make a great firearm. The CZ will cost a little less and from there it is a coin toss. Honestly with the Sig you will spend quite a bit on it unless you find a used one. If price is still a factor go with the CZ.

I'm up by the PBP Casino, so was wondering which local shop you saw them at.
curious about the CZ75 variants - but not a fan of polymer frames.

Walther PPQ M1 9mm. I have Glocks, HKs, Sigs, in 40 and 9mm, and the Walther is the best of the bunch in both ergonomics and accuracy.
