I will take a picture of a blank I have cut from it the soak it in vinegar or muratic acid for a while and post that

here is a picture of a blank that set in with the tang in vinegar for over a day in my unheated shop and was rubbed with steel wool. Probably about 40-50 degrees in the shop, it would work better warm or with something a bit stronger. Jim

I might be needing a 5" x 36 to use for one blade it's for a customer. do you have any and what would you charge me. O and i'm trying to find that large chunk of A2 for you. it cant have gotten to far. if not then i will pick you up another chunk when i go looking for more L6 and O1.
