I cant wait to go for out for a while.
I dont think there is anywhere around here to camp where
you can just start shooting unless its
private property,and even then its probably regulated.

I need a life jacket......my bridge in my driveway has been 3 feet under since yesterday. I couldnt get out to get to work. There is a creek running under my wall in my basement.......

The national guard drove by this morning.....im pretty much screwed here......
 
That's really terrible Carto, are you getting an idea as to when it will start to recede?

Oh man Carto...I hope the situation improves in a hurry for you.

Those smaller gators are so much quicker than the larger guys. Aggressive little s.o.b.

The smaller ones are more tender.

A guy from my neighbors house walked up to use the phone. He has a nice 3 story wood house with two porches that go all way round on two levels.
His bottom level has 3 feet of water in it and a car washed away.........
He lives right on the creek bank. Im about 150 yards from the creek, lucky me huh....

So far the only loss i know i have for sure is whatever is ruined in the basement, 250.00 worth of bamboo i just set out,a small section of fence i had to cut, and a days work.....

And it keeps raining.......

Carto- that sounds terrible! I guess it would be worse if the Nat'l Guard boated by.
 
Hopefully they will grow - wild pine trees....

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, I'm on my way now. It takes like 3-5 days to make it back to the states but getting started feels great. Unfortunately it still has not shown up. The fact that all three packages that were supposed to have been forwarded are still missing actually gives me hope. Maybe they sitting together on a table somewhere and will find their way while Im gone on leave. If one had shown up alone Id be worried that someone had pocketed the knife.
