Lulz. Glad to hear you won't need surgery. Sometimes I have to put a couple pins in the end of the thumb to hold those kinds of fractures in place. Your soft tissue is probably intact enough to hold everything there.

Vaseline is the shiznit.

grab nail with pliers, pull.
makes the toe sore for a couple of days, but if you do it right, even the root of the nail comes out.
it's that simple. :D

(for the record - when you show SWMBO half a toenail with root showing, she WILL yell at you for bleeding all over the floor and does not appreciate hearing how the dog will clean it up...)

You really are a frickin' viking man! I don't even do stuff THAT crazy!

Moosen, glad the prognosis is good man! Surgery sucks ! (sorry AIG, but it does!) Make sure to keep that thing clean, throw a little vaseline and dirt on it and you should be good!
 
Okay, I think I've found some 55-gallon stock. Moose likes to feel it squish between his toes.
 
Don't be dissin the Bandit around Moose,he has had a thing for Burt ever since he first saw that Cosmo centerfold from the 70's.You know the one where ol'gator is reclined on a fur rug in all his hirsute glory.He still rants about how the hand covering the wedding tackle really pisses him off.
