Had to change the dressings. Ortho appt won't be until Wednesday.

Uhhhhhghhhhh!!!!!!

Look closely, you'll see the nail is split from the nailbed forward,and the whole tip of my thumb is at a weird angle. Not to bad considering the bone is splintered.....

Would it make you feel better if a bunch of us removed body hair in uncomfortable ways and posted the humiliating pics on the internet?
 
looks like it could use a new dressing and maybe a cleaning, is that all bruising or did you just get done changing oil in a car.:D seriously though keep it clean and packed in triple antibiotic, cuts (or fleshy blowouts in your case) near the nail bed can get infected pretty easy. I saw someone post something about LO/TO but was guessing you were likely troubleshooting something energized. I have a safety training session for all of my trades guys tomorrow, always good to have new fodder to scare them with...

I just want to know where the Vasaline is???? It is most important to have it on hand! wait that didn't sound right.... Hope you heal quickly.
