Daaaaaaaang, Steel Will @ Shot show 2017 straight killing it, best in show IMO!

Thanks for that update. I love that FRN. I will own a few of those Mini's. Perfect gift knife too.

I am in love with the mini Cutjack. 3.7 oz for the G10 version (according to their website), with M390 and the blue is to die for. These are the kinds of knives I've been looking for all shot show. Not all of these art knives, super low budget minded with low-end steels, and recurves out the ass. A good portion of these are actual EDC worthy knives.

I might take a shot at the FRN + D2 folder. The fixed blades with D2 might be interesting too. I hope they are full tang.

The Cutjack C22M-2BK and C22M-2BL bearings flippers with 3" blades of M390 and Black or Blue G-10 look real good. I think they're made by Viper of Italy with $170 MSRP.

I've got to admit it looks like they have a few winners there. Good designs with what appears to be solid build and attractive price points.

Are there any other examples already from other knifemakers in this price range which are basically the same or fairly close to what this knifemaker is offering? Or are these so unique?

I have a mini-Gekko that I carry a good bit because I like backlocks. It's a very well done knife. F&F, edge grind, initial sharpness were all as good as I've seen in a <$300 folder. So far it's performed very well.

I'm sure I'll end up with one of the 3" Cutjacks when they're available. Steel Will and Buck are the only 2 companies that have anything for 2017 that I like so far.

Any evidence that they're made by Viper? I thought Viper was stuck in a D2/N690co phase? Kind of like Lionsteel is in a Sleipner phase :(

I'm curious to get my hands on an Ant lock. Looks interesting.

I am too, especially the knife with the orange G10, the contouring just screams to me. Can't quite see the internals of how the ant lock locks up, but as long as it won't disengage on you after shock absorption or rough snag, cough cough AXIS lock, then it should be a huge winner.

M390 in a sub $200 package? I'm all for it. Unless the dude in the video was mistaken and confused it with N690. Then I'm not so stoked. But if its true I may just pick one up.

That FRN Cutjack would make a great go-to gift knife for birthdays and Christmas...
