Anyone selling one, let me know. I want one like Bill Cosby wants a young helpless girl full of GHB on bourbon. Im sorry, That's not right, but its right.

There is one on aliexpress, but it comes with the Venom II and Kevin John markings on the blade.

Wow, they want even more than they were selling for in the USA. Glad I got one when I did. We cant post links to sites selling knives if they arent a paid dealer. I can tell you that they spelled it wrong so you have to search for Venum

Yeah they spelled it wrong. You can also find it by searching for kevin john and sorting it by "newest".

Found it! Thanks very much guys. Interesting...I often wonder how many of us knife nuts that buy higher end, original manufacturer's stuff also buy clones and Chinese designed pieces like these from aliexpress. Everyone seems ok with it when it comes thru Custom Knife Factory for some odd reason. I know there are many guys that claim a moral high ground against this stuff but...I have to admit, this Chinese stuff is really getting quite good, re: quality of manufacture and materials. It can be a (very) tough call (IMHO).

The reason that particular knife is even allowed to be discussed is because while it is made by a company known to make clones it itself is NOT a clone of anything (though it takes inspiration from a lot of different knives). If it was you most certainly wouldnt see anyone posting about them without it being shut down. Still many would rather these not be allowed either simply because of guilt by association. Still it pleases me that just a few short years ago no one would believe me when i said the quality coming from china would shock many. They thought I was crazy. And now that a few of these same companies that used to only make clones have started new companies and started making original designs people are finally able to judge the knives instead of letting other "issues" affect their opinions. I have always understood people not liking the idea of a clone. But I have never understood saying something was low quality simply because it was a clone. I simply feel ethics and build quality are two completely different subjects. And now some of these same people own knives made by those who are responsible for many clones, but they dont even know it. And it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

well, crap, I should've ordered when I first found out about it.

For me is pretty simple, "companies" like Adai and Kevin John make clones because they can do it and make money without even really trying. I am all for supporting these companies, even with shady backgrounds, trying to make unique knives. If we spend money on the unique ones and stop buying counterfeits, it will stop being profitable for them to make counterfeits and they will start making more and more unique knives.

Companies like Reate and Kizer and Carson Tech Labs are leading the way, and I'm happy to support them when I can. And I don't mind spending money with companies like Kevin John and Dicoria when they make something unique.

Besides, the way manufacturing is done over there, I wouldn't be surprised to find out Kevin John fakes are made on the same lines as Kershaws and Spydercos. That's just how it works over there.

There is another one on aliexpress for $200, check aliexpress again while searching for 'newest' kevin john. A more acceptable price.

From what i have seen the guys making the really good stuff in china are smaller operations and dont really have a hand in the larger production stuff. I know a few of the guys making clones and the way they tell it is they are a very small operation and in order to finance the original ideas they need to eat so they make the clones because they sell quick and provide the money to do originals.

Very cool. At least people who want them have a good source for them. One of those sellers is amazing. I cant say which one here but if anyone wants a recommendation shoot me an email.

Yep, found the $199 version. It also comes in a "stone washed" finish...and they claim the "black" blade is a titanium coating. First time I've heard that claim.Screen Shot 2015-01-20 at 9.42.44 PM.jpg
