I'd be more concerned about his velcro crotch 5.11 "village people" tactical pants and satin purple bowling shirt.

How's Beckerland? Looks like I may have scored a part-time job come May. Hopefully it will raise our family from squeaking by to having a little cushion to fall back on!

I got one too. Its rough working two but worth it.

Feed it (wood, not blood). You've got to train it right, or it decides what to eat.

Just wanted to thank everyone again for the birthday wishes and friendly ribbing. I enjoyed it. :)

My BK-9 came in today.......I finally own the king. Now what to do with it?

Personally, I'd strip it, lose the ramp, square up the spine and add a little choil for close work. Softening the angle where the swedge starts makes it easier on a baton and micarta gives a super solid feel when chopping. Other than that, nothing really....Oh, except some nice kydex..

:D

One of the most versatile designs ever. The King even. Congrats on scoring one.

I got a second job too, for the summer since I'm not taking classes. It's going to be my knife money :)

Wife and I went for a short drive in the country earlier. There's a covered bridge about 5 miles from my house. You used to be able to drive through it, but now they made a road that goes around it, to preserve it. Anyways, here's a few photos:

You have to admire that old world craftsmanship:

Hey, I've been there! We went when you could drive over it though.

Hey Beckerland pistoleros, got a question for you.

I'm looking into getting a synthetic holster for a range queen. I only have experience with Blackhawk SERPA II (thigh and duty holster), but the interwebs be buzzing about accidental discharges. Looking into Safariland's level II stuff. Any other synthetic holster fans out there with some recommendations?

I like the Comp-Tac Paddle for OWB / competition carry. It sits tight where I want it and draw is fast with my 1911. I haven't used this one, but a friend of mine uses a Desantis Intimidator for woods / range open-carry and likes it quite a bit.

Thats awesome Dubz! I love covered bridges...I wish there were some around here, just old iron bridges locally.
