Dad's back in the hospital

My dad was in the hospital last week with a Parkinson's episode and it scared the shite out of me...

I feel for you Bro..

Thanks brother, I remember your thread in the general forum and I feel your pain. Nothing worse than not knowing how things will turn out. :( At least now I have some closure and I know my Dad isnt in any pain now. Your Father is still in out prayers, I hope all will turn out well, Parkinsons is a terrible dis-ease. Stay strong and ride it out. :)

Thanks guys, Your my local support! :) We know where to go for a steady shoulder and a stiff shot. ;) Tell Eddie I will be up for another half bottle of Skotch when we get back! :D
 
Stay strong Leatherfolks. You guys should take some time and reflect on the good times. I'm sure bending is the last thing on your mind right now. My deepest condolences to you guys. Let us know if you need anything.

Thanks so much yet again folks, I'm a bit lost right now, but I know where to find friends always.

I sat and thought about the "law of three's" and yea, this was the close of the cycle. I hadnt thought about Stacy's uncle in a bit, but he was the first, then Bob, now Dad. Looks like we may be looking at a nice quiet period for a while.

Still not sure of when we're heading north, either Monday or Tuesday. Depends on what happens when. He wanted to be buried in Vernon, Texas which is close to DFW. Looks like a lot of driving next week, blech.

...but you will walk away eternally glad that you did the right thing by him.

My mother and father are both gone now. I was hit hard each time, but giving them final honors ... honoring their memory ... helped a great deal. I can finally look back and smile without shedding a tear. They were a great couple.

Condolences and prayers from my clan to yours. Time does heal. :thumbup:
 
Prayers for all Dwayne, may God be with you in your mourning. Special prayers for the repose of your father's soul my friend. I lost my dad almost 9 years ago so I know your pain brother.

ok guys, nothing is going right. Ever feel the "outside looking in" ? yea, I'm not a happy camper. Y'all please send all the positive thoughts you can please, I want to go home in the worst way. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. :(
