The spacer is stainless. It'll be a nice contrast between the damascus guard and dark handle.

That's looking great! I really like the narrrow ricasso and the curved "dropped edges/pluges", as well as how you left some thickness to them (just behind where the edge will be sharpened) , very nice! :thumbup: . And yes, thanks for sharing, going into my WIP bookmarks this second .
