Hello all , hope you had a great Christmas . I finished this little gem up yesterday , been working on this project for over a year .
This double edge dagger is hollow ground from 5/32" A-2 tool steel . Heat treated to an Rc. 61-62 with a sub-zero quench .
10-1/2" overall in length with the blade at 5-3/4" and 1" wide . It has a belt satin finish , brass guard and a brass pommel with a brass acorn nut . The pommel and nut are threaded and epoxied on the hidden tang .
Handle in stacked leather with a couple of antique ivory micarta spacers . The leather has been burnished and sealed with marine grade teak oil and hand rubbed finished .
The sheath is 7-8 oz veg tanned leather , saddle tan dyed .
