Well, I've been searching and searching and though I've not found just one of THE one, as other threads recently figured out, there isn't always just ONE, but in the ones I carry the RED Benchmade 941 with the black boron carbide coated blade is about the most useful knife I've had todate! Opens like a dream thanks to the Axis lock! and is sharp as well, and beautiful too! ;) always a plus...BUT I still carry other knives on my person most everyday and they include the ones shown below, with a cameo from others in my collection from time to time...This doesn't show my Fix blade knives nor my sword, just what's in my pocket EveryDay!
Whatcha got in your pockets? :D

ooops should post just what they are, some may not be familiar...

Top knife is a Large Sebenza in S30V blade, thanks Matt D !
beneath that is a Benchmade 941 Osborne design, thanks Dwiekum !
beneath that is a Benchmade 771 also an Osborne design with a mod by me to make the grip nicer...
Beneath that is a Swiss Army Executive a major mainstay...not so much as a knife but as a tool
on the right is a Kershaw Double Cross, Thanks Dennis !
on the left another Benchmade Osborne design, 921 in S30V blade

there...:)

Very nice. You kinda got a red-white-and-blue theme going there...;):)

In my pockets - Leatherman Micra, Benchmade MiniGriptilian 555 plain edge, and my new CMG Infinity Ultra flashlight that I'm testing.

Quite a selection there. And your favorite suspenders are....:p
Just got in from church, so I'm totin' a LM Micra w/white Photon II, keys (w/Vnox Classic, glowring, spy capsule, and another white Photon II), blue lacquer Fisher bullet, a DDR CF AL neck knife, and a SureFire E2E-HA.
edit: and a wallet
Traveling light:)

right pocket : Large Plain Sebenza
Left Pocket : Small plain Sebenz
Right Rear pocket : Kershaw Double Cross...
great little knife suggested by G2 ( and I scored it off ebay for like $30 shipped )

Now if I can only decide on a fixed blade.....

What Gary seems to have going for Warren Osborne I have for Darrel Ralph. :) My EDC set are...

Darrel Ralph-designed Camillus CUDA Maxx: 5.5"
maxx_5.5.jpg

Darrel Ralph Mini-Maxx: 4"
mini-maxx.jpg

My EDC multi-tools are:
Gerber Legend
Victorinox SwissChamp XLT
Leatherman Crunch
Swiss-Tech Utili-Key

Now I'm trying to figure out whether I'm happy enough with my CUDA Maxx to stay away from Darrel's new Aftermath design...

1. DDR Bullnose Maxx (Darrel Ralph has it right now)
2. MOD Tempest
3. BM 941
4. MT LCC
5. Swisstool X

Yep, Red White and Blue going my way!
I had a formite tell me I had the Osborne family in my pockets...
well not THAT family but the Warren Osborne knife family does reside within my Columbia ROC pants for sure!
;)

Only got three today. My main one is in my right front pocket and is a J.W. Smith Scimitar w/3.5" blade. My left front is occupied with a Buck Prince. This is a small lockback that is dandy for little jobs. I also have, in my back pocket, a J.W. Smith large LS-1 w/4.0" blade. Both of the Smith folders have S30V steel and are absolute RAZORS!

Here is a sampling of my usuall EDC. The folders rotate but I've been carrying my fixed blades as well as others in various R&D sheaths lately. Jeff Yen (JYen) developed the "inside the front pocket" static chord method of carry. With the a properly shaped sheath, it works quite well.

Lastly the Fortis and the Key FOB........ The Key thingy is just something I whiped up in the shop one day when I had nothing to do!!

The Mayo will soon become a safe queen, replaced by a MUCH modified Super Commander. The left pocket, reverse grip wave opening Commander compliments the 21 on the other side nicely :D

The 941 is truly a rare one, actually a Special Edition # 146 of 500 to be exact, with it's boron carbide blade in contrast to the burgundy/red handles it is very sleek in appearance!

I figured someone would comment on my Sebenza backseat knife...;)
But the Sebenza rules with it's solid lockup and strength so it is a brute of a knife and as such does the bulk of the HARD type chores where the 941 handles just about everything else...in style of course :D

The blade opens with just the weight of the blade alone, no flicking is necessary!!! it is just that smooth! amazing knife and closing just as quick and easy, hard to put into words!
If you've not handled one you should give them a try, I had a Carbon Fiber handled one that I got after the Red but the Red was all I needed and let the CF go, that also was very nice! Extremely light in weight and just as keen...

Dr Lathe....
What is the Fixed Blade in your Pict ?
No fixed blades in my arsenal right now and am looking to add one to my EDC lineup.....that looks like the one.
Care to send me some details on it sir ?
thanks !!

My EDC "rotation" is growing. While I still love my small Sebenza just as much as ever, the Alox scaled SAKs have moved in to stay. I just recieved a Pioneer II. This is one sweet pocket knife. Just a large blade and a small one.

Current EDCs...small Sebenza, V-nox Soldier, and Pioneer II.

Current "dress knives"...Umfaan and V-nox Secretary.

I have different knives for different occasions, but I notice I keep coming back to this Kershaw Boa paired with a G2 sheath. It just really does everything right.

Wish I could find a Mid-Tech Boa. Seems like that would be absolutely perfect.

Beautiful knives!
The knives I'm carrying today are rather humble:
A Gerber Harsey Air Ranger (OD green) and a Schrade Old Timer 12OT.

Good luck,
Allen.
