Is there a lot of crime in the area you live in?
Now THAT is a pretty combo; love the Walther.
This is what I carry most often, although the knife rotates between the WH shown below, PM2, Sage 1, GEC Charlow, or Northwoods Madison Barlow. And I seldom go anywhere without a Case Peanut somewhere on me as well.
And for the record there is NOT a lot of crime in the area where I live. But wolves are everywhere and in every country regardless of the laws. It makes no sense for only the criminals to be carrying.

My area? Let's see, I was kidnapped twice on the same year, half a block away from a police station, and that was in the safest neighbourhood in town. My house and my mother's car were shot up by corrupt policemen. I had to keep looters away with my shotgun during a power outage last summer (blackouts are common in summer). I could go on and on.
Even when at my ranch in the mountains, which is quite safe, I like to keep a few guns close by. Usually my GP-100 on my hip and either a rifle or shotgun in my saddle.
