Is this whole thing just tongue-in-cheek or is this "tactical marketing" taken to extreme measures?

Are these guys like the tactical version of the onion? Lotta marketing for an AUS-8 liner-lock.

Oh, they use "blue" locktite! well, I'm sold I love how the sharpest knife you've ever seen has visible grind marks on the vid, you couldn't polish it out for the demo unit? I guess no accusations about there not being truth in the advertising.
Anyone got the change to get one and beat it to death? I seriously doubt that it would have a production value of over $200, unless its one guy making them by hand.

I mean, it's the sharpest knife EVER. remember samurai swords? AND I can test drive it for FREE. look, we need to be jumping all over this deal, FAST. it was designed by a special ops guys that's been "in essentially every US conflict since Grenada" !!!!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT? let's just shut BF down now and all get this knife. after all, we'll never need another one, cuz Jimbo said so!!
 
Wow, that's awesome. I think its good that they encourage folks to "keep this one out of the trophy case", otherwise these would all be destined to be nothing more than showpieces and safe queens! :cool:

Ya know, I kinda wish I knew who the guy in the video was. I would send him a Spyderco just so he can have a real knife.

I'd tell him its a Blues Bender ultra-covert limited-edition slicey thingamajig; made with genuine S30V... the stuff that samurai's didn't use:D

I just accomplished these same torture tests with a taylor brands junker. Hit it hard with a hammer. Flicked it open hard and slashed a piece of paper. Maybe my taylor brands cheapo knife is the sharpest strongest knife ever made but not the most expensive?? I am now sure a delta force op would want my taylor brand knife and he gets to save a lot of money too.......
