I will trade my whole collection for one of these bad boys!!!! Woo! Oh wait...my whole collection can't be worth what this beast of a knife is...Aus-8, I've never even heard of such an exotic steel?!?!

This reeks of trying to appeal to the same people who fall for coin infomercial scams. 'genuine limited edition currency from Liberia', 'clad in .999% pure gold' etc.

At least the $79 pricing isn't completely insane.
 
That choil?? What the heck were they thinking? If you grip the choil too hard you are likely to injure yourself with the blade ground like it is! No thanks.

Although, I would love to see this folder put through a torture test with a Cold Steel folder . . . just because we might have finally found THE ONE knife that will finally get Lynn Thompson to shut up.

How silly it it to advertise that its your most expensive knife? Do they have no idea blade forums exists?
 
The knife reminds me a little of a RAT 1. That said, it is definitely too bloody expensive, and the liner does not instil the most confidence. The knife is more of a joke than anything. The thing I loved the most was the mention of samurai with AUS-8. I wouldn't be too afraid of a samurai with a stainless katana, unless it was one of the specially stable steels.

Really, the whole thing was funny for a knife nut. It reminded me a bit of the "explosion bonded" knives.
 
If you all really want one of these super duper commando knives let me know and I think I can pull some strings and locate one though special contacts I have. Please be aware also these are quite rare and very hard to get. :p I'll gladly trade one of these very expensive super elite knives for say...a...Primo Randall Made model 14,18,5,25 or hell any Randall for that matter. I'll be waiting for the Randall offers to come pouring in. Oh! No Fake! Randall's either. :D

Differientially heat treated AUS8, "stippled" G10 polymer; how can one resist such features... :rolleyes:;)

I really shake my head at the 200 people that fell for this scam; I wonder what they would do if you handed them a knife like a Gayle Bradley (which is pretty close to that tactifool knife at street price)...
 
I'd be afraid to use it, may accidentally mar the ugly & huge "Dale Comstock" signature and ruin the resale value. To be honest, at first glance, I thought "Wow, they'll slap a Dale Earnhardt logo on anything..!" :D

I did go to the site and couldn't stop laughing, funniest stuff I have heard in awhile.

The only sad thing is that people will actually buy into that BS.
