Dale Comstock folder: "The sharpest. The most durable. The most expensive ..."

"I could go on and on..." Oh, please don't.

It's the most sought after knife ever?? Why have you guys been holding out on me? It's a conspiracy!!

Awesome pic.

On topic, I've watched 3 minutes of the video and so far all I can say is... not enough pics.

If I get this knife, will MY life read like a Hollywood action movie?!

Also this guy does not sound like a typical "Jimbo."

I mean...the knife itself could be worse. I remember when I was younger someone I had met at a gun show was trying to show off his Frost Cutlery blade. What an absolute turd. The can opener in my wallet could do more damage -- probably keeps a better edge too.

We've all seen stuff like this before. Elite soldiers of their time venturing into tactical products made in China with over hyped marketing that frankly weaken and degrade their very existence. Remember Richard Marcinko? It's funny stuff but sad to be sure. Motivational speaking might be a better retirement plan.

Was anyone actually physically uncomfortable watching this? I had to go donate a toy to a tot just to offset the frustration.

I love the YouTube videos detailing how well the blade rubs the liner (you can hear it in the first video that BluesBender posted) even though it has that ball bearing thingy to prevent it from getting scratched by the release thingy and how well it TEARS copy paper in the second.

Dale's clearly wearing a Metallica t-shirt on the box though. Somebody email Lars Ulrich and get this nonsense shut down.

Man...that was funny S@#$. Needed a good belly laugh today and that just did it. Thank you.

That's it... I'm selling my Rocksteads for a Dale Comstock uber-tactical signature-edition limited-release tactical combat-folder. I've been converted!!!

And in his other video he puts the knife to the test opening his "survivor" knife. Look how it goes through that tape like it was butter!!

Anyone ever handled one of these overhyped pieces or know who manufactures them for these guys?
I have 3 of these "Overhyped" Comstock combat folders and they are the absolute best folders, without question, I have ever owned. One is my EDC and the other 2 are in my 2 go bags. After 5 years of total abuse, I still carry this awesome folder and it is still solidly intact and I have never had to sharpen the AUS 8 blade at this point. It still shreds paper as easily, and efficiently as when I first received it, among many other things. Not a cheap knife. Definitely worth the price.

You bumped an 8 year old thread for this?
