Sure am glad I scan all my USPS MOs, mailing and shipping documents etc. Three times I have emailed scanned MOs to vendors who declined Paypal even with my offer to pay 3% for convenience, with the MO arriving each time THE SAME DAY as my emailed scan. As J Leno would say, "Coincidence? I don't think so."
Simple, quick, easy and cheap way for J Lott to demonstrate for all to see that his story is 100% aboveboard is to scan the returned mail documents and post them for all to see. But that still leaves the question, what about the SECOND knife of yiterp?
All the badmouthing of postal service workers by J Lott here and in Greg Jones linked case is indeed worrisome, this from a man "holding hostage" yit's knives pending ... what exactly?

Perhaps you would be more comfortable providing the materials mentioned above to a judge? There is a quick and easy online form that they use for mail fraud. All that is needed is to copy all this that you have readily admitted to along with a copy of that printed form to the USPS and send it to the DA in your area for review. Did you know that ANYONE can file a complaint in ANY court of the US many times even if they are not living in that area? Sometimes the case will be reviewed even if the person filing does not plan to be present... Or perhaps one could just say they were and keep things moving along. At the very least the PO Inspector General is going to review and cause you some trouble. I've done this and they did respond rather quickly and the trouble caused was enough for someone to IMMEDIATELY send my blade to me. Possibly, with all the PC stuff that is going on with crap being sent through the mail your local DA will JUMP on this opportunity to make an example out of your ignorant ass.
If this persists I'm starting a collection on this board sent to Yiterp to finance the entry of the complaint just TO F*CK with you as you have with him! I'm sure there are plenty of gambling types or coffee drinkers who would BE VERY WILLING to donate a $20 in support of taking someone like you down a notch even if the attempt was eventually proven a failure. Hard to do? Nah, he already listed his address... He's a respected guy around here who would happily hold on to any mail like that received and then simply write a courteous "Return To Sender" if the end result was that you'd finally pulled your head out of your ass thus costing everyone only a mere .37 cents!!!!! have to pick up all my mail in person all letters are in a po box and any packages are put in my hand.i have lived in this little town for 13 years and everyone knows everybody,if any packages come in with my name on it they don't even have to look at the po box number on the package they know it's for me.i recieve the most packages of anyone in this town.this is why theirs no way something comes in that i don't get.packages are signed for at the same time they are giving it to me.

James, enough! You are so full of BS I can smell it all the way up here in Canada. You are the one that doesn't seem to understand what you are being told. You may not need this forum for your livelihood, but you can be darn sure that the influence of the people on this forum spreads much farther out into the knife community than just BladeForums.
Why do you continuously evade the questions you are being asked? You have been asked repeated about a second knife. Where is the Benchmade model 42. The way you avoid answering questions, you would make a great politician.
It absolutely amazes me how many time you have had screw ups happen when you ship things to people. These screw ups are never your fault. You must have the worst luck of anyone in the world to have had all these problems.
Then you have the gall to try to extort an apology and a retraction from Steve. What a joke. Give the man his knives back, immediately. Go to the post office Monday and ship Steve BOTH his knives and then stay the heck away from us. Someone with your obvious low regard for the members of this forum and very questionable ethics is not welcome here. Not by me at least.
If I am not mistaken a while ago you announced to the whole of BladeForums that you were leaving because Ken Cook wouldn't ban a bunch of respected BFC members because you called them trolls. I notice you have made quite a few posts since then. Another promise you have failed to keep.

Hey darkman, answer the questions that folks have asked. If you have indeed shipped them and they were returned, then scan or photograph the boxes with the postal marks. As Spark said, Kinkos has scanners. Pretty simple huh?

Mike, Darkman has already been banned at Microholics and he the only member there to ever to get the boot! I know he is banned at USN and I believe he was banned from KFC when he was giving someone there a bunch of crap. I had a terrible time getting his knife and money from a trade I made with him back in April and the thread of it can be found here on Microholics. All of the coments from Darkman appear as "Guest" with 2 posts since his username of Darkman was banned.
Go look at this thread and see for yourself if much of the same verbiage and excuses that he is giving now haven't just been recycled from before. It is always someone else's fault that James has problems, and the Post Office gets blamed the most. He also used that same reputation line on me that he is using now, from April 23:

I have given him until next Friday to have the knives back to yiterp, which means if he sends them out on Monday, as promised, he better second day them, so they arrive on time.

First of all I am in the same boat as Steve and Ira. The PO in this town is very much like their own, and they would have handed it to me right there, hell they know when packages come to me, and they usually tell me before I ever check the box to see the slip.
As far as Steve getting a package, we have done several deals, and all of them went smooth, and no problems with the packages getting to him.
I am with CODE on this, if the packages aren't sent, MAIL FRAUD will stick. If you can scan the package showing returned, then I am sure this will clear up alot of BS.

FWIW darkman was banned long ago at USN, soon after it went up if i remember right- i know cuz i saw him in the hole for spamming i think....the tritium dots he (supposedly) installs on striders....

If I recall correctly Darkman was banned here too. Of course if he doesn't return Yiterp's knives getting banned again will be the least of his worries, but as Code 3 already warned him we'll do that.
I've saved copies of everything he's posted here and I'm sure others have too ... he has a history of trying to cover up by editing his posts ... like a cat trying to cover up on a tile floor....
