DAM, they are so beautiful

For our folks, we have several dozen confirmed on the road to us. First ones hopefully will be here Monday (should of been here today). Balance due here mid-week.

Mine also shipped today...I was thinking about a DAM FrankenLeek too...can't decide between coarse or polished G10...:)

I'm going to use coarse, mainly cause thats all i have, but i really do like how grippy it is. You should do one of each, then compare and post pics;)

Wow that was fast. I just ordered two Damascus leeks yesterday, and found them in my mailbox today. I'm sure not complaining, though. They are even more beautiful in person!! After examining them closely, the first thing i did was to put one of the damascus blades on my G10 handles from my 1660G10, and it looks awesome!! I think i found my new EDC for at least a week!!!(until switch to something else):D I am very happy with these knives!!!:D:D
 
Got my DAM in today...now I wish I'd ordered 2...the most flawless Leek I own...perfectly centered blade and perfect lockup, perfect SpeedSafe assist, great-looking Damascus...who could ask for more!

See, now, I only ordered one. So as not to be greedy...so that others might partake of the limited 493 units. Yet I find my benevolence thwarted by the unmitigated consumerism of some people in this forum... "Tis indeed a sad day. ;)


(Especially since I haven't seen mine...only an email confirming shipment! :eek: )

Yep, got mine, too. "It's very nice." (In best Monty-Pythonesque French accent)

But now I have another question; what steels make up the Damascus? I noticed on some Damascus sites they'll list X layers of this steel, and Y layers of that, folded X number times for X Damascus layers. Any similar specs available for Kershaw's Damascus?
 
Wow 2brothers you've got some great patterns! Did you handle them in a store or mail order them? I just got two today, and they don't look anything like yours, unfortunately. If there was an online dealer that had pictures of each knife, they'd make a lot of money.
