I haven't seen my copy yet but I got an advance peek at the March '13 Blade. Congrats to Sam - one of Blade's Makers To Watch In 2013!
 
Looks as though it's all business....:thumbup: I can, unfortunately, only guess at how great it feels in hand!
 
The wood is stabilized spalted maple from Pete Crowl. I purchased several blocks from Pete to use on our 2012 Northern Virginia Knife Collectors' club knife and they were really nice pieces.
