Here's one that I FINALLY got finished :)

It's a turkish twist blade, African blackwood handle, and twisted W's pommel and nut.

I'm pretty sure Coop will be taking a better picture of it before too long :)

Thanks for look'n

Nick, that's a beauty. Somebody's gonna be really tickled with that one.

I don't think that I would change a thing!;)

Happy trails, PG.

Best Regards,

I haven't got any inside sCoop yet. What I DO know is "How sweet it is!"

Very versatile, Nick. 2006 is going to be YOUR year!

Coop

that had me chuckling -- I'm not sure if you meant it or not. :D

Nick -- that blade is freakin' amazing. Love the whole package!

That's just as sweet as can be. The only thing that knife needs is a matching 10" bladed companion. :)

No, what it really needs is to be mine. :)

If I counted correctly, I see 4 bars to the blade?

Wow that is seriously cool! That damascus is really something.

Great knife to say the least.

Wonderful Piece Nick
Stunning damascus and really tasteful design.
is the Bolster fileworked or 3 pieces...subtle touches set her off..congrats!

Wow, thanks everyone! :) Good way to amp up my birthday, seeing all these kind words. :D

Okay, so no Garssonizing is definitely high praise (he got his 2 cents in last year when I showed him the rough finished piece) :) ....

But being mentioned anywhere near the same breath as Jim Schimdt is as good as it gets! :D Schmidt and Fogg are the two guys that are always at the top of my <bladesmith heroes> list

Oh, and Ari, YEP, it is 4 opposing twisted bars, each one 120 layers.

Ran, the bolster area has two fine lines "cut" in that wrap all the way around it, with a groove filed in-between them on the sides. So, yep, it's all one solid piece :)

It was actually supposed to be a fighter (or so I thought) until it "showed me" it was destined to be a hunter ;) HA! :)

Thanks again everyone!
