I forged this with about 140 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my Evenheat kiln with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 assuring a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind
Professionally stabilized figured maple handle, slightly dyed to bring out the contrasts
Overall length: 10 1/4 inches
Blade: 5 inches
The blade is approximately 1/8 inch at the choil with a distal taper to the tip
Oiled leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
