Damn good fake......new pics.

Shows you how quickly they start working on "prototyping" these fakes, that this mimics the 1st generation 25's press-fit stop pin.

My question: does it have a ceramic ball in the end of the lockbar? Another kind of ball? Or is it just a standard frame lock with no ball?

Kinda a shame really. The Chinese once led the world in new technologies and high quality manufactured goods (Ming Vase anyone?), and they likely will again some day, but this period we are in now is just embarrassing for them. They should have some pride and stop this nonsense.

I just wont buy any CRK unless its someone from this forum(that i recognize) or authorized dealer. Really does suck to see all these fakes.

These fakes hurt us all. A few years ago, I bought an Omega watch thinking that if I ever need money, I can sell it on the net. With all the fake stuff out there, I'm not so sure anyone would buy on-line from a guy with no history. Same thing with the knives.

Yeah, the birthcard looks like it was printed, thumbstuds look off and pivot screw looks recessed.

To some degree, real ones are printed as well, with maybe some handwriting to indicate what inlays or whatnot. that 25 one however is much more obvious.

They should have some pride and stop this nonsense.

its probably cultural. It's so widespread and rampant out there that they probably think "its just a knife? what's wrong with it?"

I'm asian and american born. I once caught a group of 5 or 6 other asian-international college students copying off of my work in college back in the day and i was shocked and gave em a piece of my mind - but they all looked totalllly confused and was "but... this is normal? you dont do that?" - it happened enough times with different folks that i pretty much chalked it up to different mentality - different culture. They're used to that shit and think nothing of it.

Unsure if it's just me but pics aren't showing up on my tapatalk [emoji20]

Thanks for the pics. I'm curious to see the other side of the scales while disassembled as well.

This kind of thing needs to be stopped, but it's not gonna happen at the level it should...(not going to start a political discussion here)

It's up to us NOT to buy these.
I don't care what the "reasoning" is behind buying one, just don't, and they will go away....

funny thing is ... out of curiosity, i found a few studies (including an MIT one) that indicated that knockoffs can have the reverse affect of boosting sales of the originals.

I bitch in the general forums about Chinese knives and all I get is crap back.all the time people say (I don't care where it's built) they would if they worked at the factory in USA and they lost their job due to it. I wanted to post this hopefully to inform new buyers. Received some pm's on where to buy this knife I showed on here.:barf:

That's what kills me . People know what CRK are they know the rep they have . Spend the money to get a real one . Your not cool or people aren't gonna think your cool pulling out a sebenza , most people would have no clue what it is anyway so buying a fake your only hurting yourself .

I got taken for a mini sebbie with the Wilson combat design.not a expert on sebenzas looked up fakes on the tube thought I looked it over but got screwed..realy need to know your shit when buying outside your normal goods..i also ran across a halo 5 that was a fake and a 800 dollar rainy valloton 1 of 21 made didn't lock up properly no markings on the blade all in all was a nice looking knife but for 800 no way I was chancing it..that sebenza made me question a lot of shit anymore..they have all the equipment to copy a knife why not make something of there own? mind boggling
