Damn motor wiring

Tomorrow morning run down to the local hardware store and spend the $20 for a basic meter. That way you can check what is the problem. I'm betting it is what I last posted.
 
Though many do it, you should not try to set up a motor without a meter and basic understanding of how to use it. This is a prime example of why. We are all guessing and making suggestions completely in the blind. When a single reading of the meter would probably solve the problem. Hope you don't take offense for being curt, but this could get you killed or set the shop on fire. Please get a meter.
