Let me throw another bunch-o'-praise in for Dan. After admiring every knife he's listed in the exchange ... I finally decided I needed to pick one up. Absolutely incredible knife for the money. Really don't know why I waited so long (maybe because I am really a gent's folder kind of guy). Glad I decided to add this one to the collection. Would highly recommend him.

Those knives in stag, sterling, and snakeskin are beautiful.
Here's a picture of my full tang edc in ash burl and snakeskin damascus. Got some use today opening a bag of charcoal for the grill. It's my go to around the house carry knife.

Let me just bring this thread back to life. Dan's the man! A while back, Dan made a desk knife set that I missed out on in the exchange because, well, I got too busy to do my regular checking of the listings! He knew how much I liked it and recently offered me another that he made. Of course I jumped on it. Can't thank him enough!

Yes, Dan is a great guy and (while I am certainly NOT complaining) makes some beautiful knives at outrageously reasonable prices. I just feel blessed that he offered this one to me. He told me that this is the 4th desk set he's made. It takes him 5 days to make one like this ... not counting the time it takes to actually forge the Damascus he uses in the blades. If anyone is considering purchasing one of his knives ... don't hesitate for even a second. I know you will be pleased!
I have two of Dan's knives and just ordered one of the desk sets...I was going to wait until next year but the Chief Financial Officer (aka - she who must be obeyed) loosened the purse strings after I showed her a picture of yours...
