Dan Graves -

Purchased dagger from Dan Graves. The transaction was easy, he was very personable, and the delivery was surprisingly fast. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

I too have purchased from Dan. Pleasant transaction, fast shipping, exactly what you expect from a stand up guy like Dan. Roll Tide Dan!!!

Truthandpeace, your initial posts were hotheaded and omitted significant information such as the delay of 2 years was at your request as you were out of country. Also you knew he was away on vacation so replying to your emails during this time was not to be expected.
You should change your moniker to "Distortandaggravate".

Dan has contacted me. He is capable of fine work, this I can attest to... The entire issue has been the deposit, and time, as stated. Nothing curious. Take care...

You keep editing your posts to make things sound as if you are the poor innocent one. You also threw in that I was wrong about the legality of shipping ivory. My post clearly stated "out" of the country. (where you were at the time) Not inside it. You also deleted that. Be a man and stand up to your wrongdoings. I think you have burned too many bridges to recover. I'm not wasting anymore time on someone like you. You joined simply to bash Dan. You did just that but we all saw right through your intent and called you on it. Now go away. I'm out of it!

Dan is capable of very fine work, yes. Thank you...

Allow me to welcome you to Bladeforums properly. Albeit you introduced yourself in quite an unconventional way. Keep in mind, launching allegations towards a maker or any other member without the benefit of evidence to backup your story can lead to an immediate and permanent ban if facts do not add up. The omission of details is the same as lying as far as I'm concerned.

In your original run, you chose to dig up 3 separate threads, and posted different things within them, and offered no details, no back story, nothing. You simply "appeared" and chose an accusatory path, and this is where we have a problem. It could be considered spamming to some extent. A legitimate issue should be presented in its own thread, and as many details should be provided in support of your position. We want facts, not partial recollections, or imagined details, and exaggerations need not apply. Multiple edits can also lead to some problems.

Dan's prices are direct evidence of his kindness/ character (IMHO).

Words cannot describe my level of satisfaction.

Well - I stopped by hoping to see a genuine apology directed to Dan. Nope.

Well I misunderstood then - maybe I don't know the whole story. Likely, but there seems little chance of that now considering truthandpeace's multiple edits and selective memory.

I am proud to call Dan a personal friend, a mentor in the craft and in business, and one of the MOST generous men I have ever met. It irritates me that his reputation can be called into question in such a public way without evidence beyond the deceptively selective facts that you laid down initially. (Still wondering about the mysterious $1000 deposit here on the $800 kit.)

Truthandpeace, are you truly aware that this man's livelihood hangs on his reputation?

I do not know you, but Mr, you owe the man a direct apology. I would humbly suggest that get this one right while you still can.
