You've already seen the Burt Foster camp knife, so I didn't bother to take new pics of that one. I'm going to post them one at a time, so be patient with me and my limited computer skills. :)

Here's what I got. Roger Massey came through for me again, and brought me this sweet bowie. Blade is 10" of forged 1084, with nickel silver "S" guard, engraved ferrule, and a killer chunk of ironwood for the handle.
 
Next, is the Craig Camer bowie that all of you have already seen. Thought I would try to take a better picture, but maybe it's not. Oh well, it's different, so sue me. :)
 
Jason Knight fighter, with about a 5" blade of forged L6, stainless double guard and black linen micarta handle. One thing Jason has started doing, that I love, is inlaying pearl guitar fret markers over the handle pins. Classy touch. This one, I got lucky at Kenny Rowe's table, and found a perfect fit with the Cape Buffalo inlayed sheath. This knife is like an extension of your arm.
 
Next up, is a super sweet Tanto made by Jason Knight and a young man that he is teaching to make knives. This kid is gonna be good, I'll tell ya right now! The kid(Brandon Shirey) forged the 1084 blade and ground it, Jason did the clay heat treat(sorry, but the really awesome Hamon did not show in my crappy pics) and the wood handle under the wrap. Brandon then wrapped the handle. One of the cleanest, sharpest knives I have ever seen! So clean and awesome, that Anthony Lombardo(picky Bastid that he is) immediately tried to buy it from me, and then ordered one just like mine when I refused to sell it.
 
Geeeeez Dan, some day when I hit the Lottery I'm going to have a collection just like you...until then...Nice Score Dude!
 
I picked up another Brett Gatlin bowie, with an even longer and slimmer blade than the last one. This forged 1084 blade is over 10", but I haven't measured it exactly. Stainless oval guard and ferrule, and Ringed Gidgee wood handle and domed pin. Very nice bowie, and plenty long in the handle for us Mongoloid handed individuals. :D
 
These two were ordered knives from Barry and Phillip Jones, and Trace Rinaldi. Both are S30V. The big Jones Brothers camp knife is flat ground nice and thin, and the handle doesn't have a sharp edge anywhere. I requested the ricasso and the spine be rounded off nicely, and the Jones Bros complied.

The Rinaldi Gambit is typical Rinaldi awesomeness. Great grinds, excellent fit and finish, etc...
 
Two more knives from Craig Camerer. These are tactical grade knives with Guncoat black finishes. Both are D2 with Bos heat treat. One thing I love about these knives. Usually, the guys making these tactical kind of knives leave the edges a little thicker, since they are supposed to be heavy duty. Not these two. Edges on these two are as thin as anything coming out of the ABS.
 
Stunning knives Dan. That iron wood on Roger's knife is down right show stopping.
 
SWEEEEET! Nice haul Danbo. Hopefully I can pry one or two of these off of you in the future. ;) I like 'em all. Make sure you bring them with you up here in September, OK? Wish I could've been there in Atlanta, if only to see you drool and babble amongst all the knives.
 
Nice haul Danbo. I noticed the knives on Brandon Shirey's table also. One really tempted me but I had spent what I budgeted for myself by that time. He really is someone to keep an eye out for.
 
Wow Danbo, do you wake up each morning and think "Man, I died and went to bowie heaven"? :eek: :eek: "Haul" doesn't even begin to describe that take. If you had started from zero knives, you'd already have an instant terrific collection. Beauties all. Is that more of your ironwood on that gorgeous Massey S-guard?

I can forsee that I'll be harrasing you in the future for that Camerer bowie and the Gatlin as well. ;)

Danbo, you really outdid yourself this time, good score, good pics, great detail...well done!

While we were there for the full 3 days, we only ran into maybe 20 fellow forumites by name...next year I'm gonna post my CP# here publicly, and then wear a flashing rainbow tiara or something... ;)

Let's go a head and add the Foster knife to the rest of this esteemed group. It's certainly worth a second look. I know I've looked twice. Okay, WAY more than twice. All right, I might be just a little obsessed.. :rolleyes:

Nice stash, and they don't surprise me. You have one of the best eyes in the biz for quality fixed blades. Congrats from me, too.

Hopefully you used a credit card with miles! After your Blade haul you can go anywhere in the world with what you racked up that weekend! :D Didn't actually look at the pictures close-up because I thought they'd make me cry!
