Daniel Defense Kershaw Folder

10-4 on that.

That is the best looking Kershaw design since the Hinderer. Reminds me of an anorexic 0400, sick little knife, I might have to get one.

Oh, wait according to the Kershaw Muffuletta, I am a basher, nevermind.;)
:D

That's right man, no Kershaws (or ZTs) for you.

Unless you post pics after you get them.;)

Funny my DDR HTM MAXX 5.5 has so little writing on it I wondered if there were maker marks at a first glance. ;)

Clearly it epically fails in the "psychological intimidation" department. See...the bad guys read the writing on your blade...usually something like "Spec Tac Ops" above a picture of a skull or something...then they get scared and run away.

Sounds like you got ripped off! That thing'll never work.

I think it needs a fully serrated S shaped blade and accompanying literature on how it shouldn't be used for tasks expected of a knife. That would complete its mall ninjery appeal.

I am not liking the look of that at all.

As someone mentioned before, their AR stuff is top notch, if a little pricey.

Geez....that thing is all black with Daniel Defense on it. I guess that makes it "mall ninja" based on the standards set by some posting in this thread.

That's the best looking Smith and Wesson knife Taylor Cutlery has ever produced. I wish it was 7" with more serrations!

You two should get together and design the "perfect" knife.

Without explaining what your specific needs are neither I, nor anyone else, can point you to a knife in Spyderco's catalog that might meet those needs or come close.

Some things are also a matter of taste.

There is a difference between a valid critique and simply trolling. The former provides specific information for a debate or discussion. The latter simply wants to raise a fuss. Decide which you want and proceed.

You can knock any brand you want as long as it isn't HIS brand.

Maybe if Daniel Defense included a hole in the blade the minions wouldn't be so upset.

That is a nice looking knife design, I like the color black, writing on things doesn't bother me, the military guys seem to like serrations.

"You two should get together and design the "perfect" knife. "

I was attempting to be sarcastic by making a fun poke at a certain successful SD knife that for all its attributes, somehow maintains a level of reverence and mystique in the knife community. My only complaint regarding this new Kershaw is the blade is a little short and i'd rather have a plain edge.

No. It would have to have "Daniel Defense" written in big letters all over the barrel to provide psychological intimidation. Maybe some scary skulls too. And pointy things stuck on the barrel. Maybe a set of nunchucks hanging off the barrel.

It's all about "scary" design elements with no function. Like the serrations on that Kershaw!
