Bad Darrex is a scammer and a thief

maybe you send a package a month, and therefore you can hardly make mistakes, but who sends many, it can happen. I think...

Cyrombinson: after all the news of fraud, he could very well, keep them knives. He had already been labeled as thief. It really was worth it. Instead he will have noticed the mistake and sent them back.

It helps to have both sides of the story.
Here is a good rundown from the owner of the knives.
Sure a person could mix up packages. It's unlikely any good person would try to trade a knife they didn't own. Or was that another unfortunate mistake.

This particular Passaround contained the following knives, all new in box: From WE Knife the models 620, 702, 703, 704, 705 & 707. With them also a SOG Tomcat 3.0.

When Darrex received the knives the problems began. He did not communicate about finishing the video's, about sending them to the next reviewer and so on. Then i received an e-mail from WE Knife. He had contaccted WE Knife with a proposal to keep the knives for a big discount because the knnives were in used condition. So he passes me. But WE Knife told hom to contact me.

So i contacted him. Then he did the same offering. Keep the knives for a small amount of money because the knives were in used condition. And he had no money to send the knives back because shipping internationally from Italy to another country was expensive. I told him to send back the knives and i would pay for shipping. Then he send me a picture of some WE Knife boxes in a shippingbox. But i did not see the SOG box betweenn them. When i asked him about the SOG he told me that there was never a SOG in the box. When i told him he posted a picture of the SOG on his Instagram he told me he had some family problems. He would ask his brother Maybe he took the SOG. But in the mean time he had offered the same SOG here on Bladeforums for a trade. After a couple of days he told me he found the SOG but the box was missing.So i asked him politely to send the knives. This because he treathened not sending the knives because another member of the Passaround group named & shamed him in the group because of his behaviour. I told him again that i wuld pay for the shipment when the knives arrived. After a couple of days he send me a picture of a box ready to ship.

About ten days later the box arrived at the next reviewer. It was filled with batteries. So he contacted Darrex and Darrex immediately blamed the Italian postal services. But the weight on the box was exactly the weight of the box filled with batteries. And this weight was by far not enough to cover the weight of the knives involved. And then i found out he already offered the SOG for a trade.

Last night he offered to settle. He was willing to pay me 700,- for those knives. This was the insurance value for the box he shipped, he told he wanted to claim. So he also tries to rip off the postal services.

So now it depends on him. I want my knives, worth in Europe over 1600,-, back.

Or he didnt realize the implications of his actions nor that those he 'borrowed' the knives from wouldnt take kindly to be out several knives and went after him hence Darrex sXXt bricks and coughed up the blades.

I know, which version I lean towards.

Now, I do not know the truth, but I do not think Dario wanted to keep the knives.
Of course it's easy to talk without anyone who can defend himself since he was banned and can not even see these posts. And I'm sorry to see others (Italians) who know him, that like me, has eat with him, now speak badly of him....
And now? the knives are returned to the owner. So Dario is not a thief....

You are not Darrex and nobody drew your attention to this thread.

Until just now, this was a complete surprise to you.

Remarkable coincidence, that we now - purely by accident - have Italian persons and friends of Darrex with the same awkward approach to the English language chipping in.

Not a thief, but happened to have put the exact same knives up for sale despite his vast collection. Seems legit.
The emails back and forth seem pretty damning as well..Oh, and the batteries.. That was a good one.

He did the right thing after his actions were brought to the community for scrutiny..but not before he fought it tooth and nail.
Doesn't appear to be the actions of an innocent man to me.
 
Yes. The correspondence shows his complete disdain for those wanting the knives back.

He only returned the knives, when he realized, that they wouldnt let up and that he might be in trouble.

By then of course, he was already up a body of water with no implement for forward motion.
 
It’s also possible that this all happened because Dario was offended by Henkh being assertive about getting the knives back.
Dario may have been trying to provoke, by putting the knives up for sale, and sending the batteries.
When he realized that his little vendetta was costing him big time, in terms of reputation, he sent the knives back.
Now he has regrets, knowing that it will be harder for him to sell knives, and to get people to trust him in the future. He is now trying to repair the damage, but it will not be easy.

Thief or " total " MORON, he caused a lot grief for people that extended him kindness and trust. I guess him trying to sell one of those knives that didn't belong to him was unintentional as well?
 
I decided to bump this thread instead of creating a new one, it would appear that previously banned member @darrex is back on the forums as Dobermann-IT Dobermann-IT .

A member of BF's was in the process of completing a sale with Dobermann-IT Dobermann-IT when he realized that he and @darrex were the same individual.

Just an observation....... That guy was in this thread in Feb of 2018 defending the darexx guy......I mean defending himself.:D what a douchebag.

....... yes it is worth quoting Dario talking about how good and wonderful Dario is....now with the hindsight this should serve as a further warning for anyone who may be tempted to deal with him.... the dishonesty seems to run deep and long....
