Dave is sooooo talented and sooooo cool. I never did see the knife that won, although I think I brushed paths with it several times. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

Thank you all Just got home its time to unwind I did have coop shoot 3 of my knives one them was the best fixed blade and the other two where knives that have my new split ring design but the new design was not the one that won. STeven thanks for all the laughs my friend good times. I will get pics up as soon as I get them from Jim or Jim fell free to add the star fighter to this thread. thanks again folks for all the kind words And a Big thanks to Joe P just for being Joe your Great.
 
I had a long conversation with Dave Thursday night about his Damascus and knife design, was a highlight of my very short Blade Show trip.
His knives were beyond outstanding, so no surprise that he won the award.

Dave, you just keep knocking them outta the park and down the block! Congrats on the win brother...with your skill-set, I have no doubt there are a sack full more to come! Better start cleaning off some shelf space for the trophies now before things start getting totally outta hand:D

Congratulations Dave. Really good hanging out with you and I was inspired by you and your work. Like I told you at the show, all knifemakers make knives, but only some of them make art. You are certainly one of them!
