I'm sure a multi-million dollar contract is looming on the horizon.
There's no liability issue.
If Buck likes anything they see here, I have no doubt Buck would contact the person who gave them the ad concept and work out some fair compensation. Who knows, it may have been done before this and we would be the last to know about it.
They are, after all, an honest, fair and reliable company.
The law is the law on this and deleting the posts would make no difference because they're already out there (and copied, dated and filed in both my computer and a witness computer so there could be no question of a misunderstanding in the future).
That's not a problem unless somebody wants to work real hard to make it a problem.
My slogans and ad concepts are intellectual property that belong to me.
You can promote my ideas if you wish, but don't try to take ownership.
Like I said, if Buck wants to use anything......Chuck can shoot me an e-mail and we'll work something out.
Thanks Dave, for providing this opportunity for all of us Buck-lovers to help out a great company.

Hi BG42EDGE -
Of all of your original ideas, only one of them is not directly stolen from another famous ad campaign -
As a recap -
Buck Knives!
"A little jab will do ya.
Use more, only if you dare."
Brylcreem
"Sometimes you feel like a Buck......sometimes you don't."
Mounds / Almond Joy
"Promise her anything, but give her a Buck."
Promise Her Anything is a 1965 British romantic comedy film directed by Arthur Hiller
"Reach out and slice someone."
Bell system advertisement by Ken D'Ambrosio
"You deserve a Buck today!"
McDonalds
"When it absolutely, positively has to be sliced overnight."
Federal Express
So - I think it is YOU that should be contemplating who is stealing intellectual property. Just saying.
And The Longbow - in post 12 he used the same Buck the Trend slogan that I did - please don'e sue me man - I meant no harm...
best regards -

How come it's always everybody else except you that doesn't 'get it'? In every thread you post in, there is always an issue that you must clarify. And in all cases, it is because only you 'get it'. That is of course, according to you.
Yeah, those were meant as humor......guess you didn't get it.
